Quick report 1

To blog continued live, I will write quick reports of the ongoing work on projects. Time goes by, work in full swing. Now think over circuit controller for each motor, build a test circuit on the breadboard. When everything is working as it is necessary and there would be issues - Develop PCB. For the tests had to buy L297 chip at a local store for the full amount (4,75 €), as previously ordered 5 chips with China (4,50 € per 5pcs) successfully lost in the bustle of Christmas somewhere on the way. While I bought only one, for the driver for the one motor it will be enough.

Now I calculate termination resistors for current measurement in motor windings to control congestion, think how to modify the build ready L298 to connect them.

Unfortunately, now it is impossible to give the project as much time that was planned, but work continues.

Christmas begins!

Today, at last I received first a parcel from China! 

There are 2m of belt, pulleys and hex-key.

"In waiting of parts" or "Thoughts about the electronic part"

So, I ordered timing belts and pulleys from China. Now I am waiting for them. Without this parts, the following works with hardware are not possible. On the other hand, there is time to think about electronic or programming part. The question remains about the power electronics for controlling the motors.

Today, after spending about half of hour in the hardware store, I have found the necessary details. Once I drilled all the necessary holes and assembled construction as "rough draft".

I have finally decided to return to the project and bring it to fruition. I already have a lot of decisions, now you need to bring them together. I decided to abandon from the old construction (from the wood). The new design will be made from metal.
